To finish our trailer we had to burn it by saving it on Premier Pro and then choosing a template on iDVD we added on our trailer and our ancillary texts to create a DVD.
Our final trailer was 1min and 48 seconds. We began with our clip of our metal patient walking down a corridor with a voice over explaining she is being locked away. We ended our trailer with the pan of the empty field with voices saying our tagline and finally our actress coming up on the screeen screaming and ending with the date of release.
Our horror trailer is filmed in lots of different locations and there are many costume changes. Our list of sounds throughout the trailer consists of a piano, a voice over and children singing. In the editing process we have made our own production company logo and came up with the effects of our production name, film title and date. We also added in transitions and cropped our clips. As you can see from our final trailer we have used a lot of different camera angles and shots as we wanted to show that the camera was imporant in making the trailer exciting and keep the audience on the edge of their seats. It was also important as we are doing a horror trailer and it was important to get all the different camera angles to keep the audience frightened as it is an element that was very important in making a scary trailer.
The sound in our final trailer had a massive impact on showing our storyline and keeping the audeince scared. After showing people this trailer they agreed that the sounds made the trailer chilling.
Finally, our trailer was everything that we had planned as we were very organised and could put all of our ideas together as a team to create a trailer which the whole group had never done before.
This is our Final Trailer.
I liked the variety of camera shots expecially the long shot on the bridge as this added to the impact of the scary character. The flashback scenes were filmed very well, specifically the establishing shot of the sisters running which you captured well.
