Editing the text

In the media suite we began to finalise all of our editing to produce our final trailer. We began by using the software Abobe Premier Pro to cut all of our clips so it would be easier to edit each clip and add effects to them.

We added at the start of our trailer our production company name. Our production company is called Scarlet Screen Productions. This is because Scarlet is the name of our main character in the play. We picked this as it is a horror film production and Scarlet has connotations of red meaning blood.Our logo of our production company is is small box with a pattern inside which would be good as it shows something which has nothing do to with our film or our genre. This shows that the production company makes other films as well showing the audience that it is a professional company. We did choose a font called Bell Gothic so the production company does have a horror relation to our trailer.
Our design of our production company is a film role at the bottom of the screen. We chose this as it looks more like a trailer for a film and also as it looks more professional. Before we chose to do this we had the production name in the centre of the page just white writing outlined in red. As we all thought this was too basic we decided to add some effects to the production name. We found sci-fi templates and also wedding templates but we decided that for our production name it should be film role as it looks more like a trailer.

At the end of our trailer we added the film name and the date of release.We thought that this should be simple so it doesnt look like we added to many extra effects. Also our film trailer required quite a simple title and date. It is bold white writing with a red outline. The red symbolises the horror and scary moments throughout our trailer and the white symbolises the girls innocence while she is wearing the white dress.
