Filming

On Saturday 19th November as a group we filmed one of our final two scenes. In this scene we filmed at the local park. We began by doing a pan of the park so that the audience would see an empty place which may be quite chilling.
After doing the makeup and hair for our actress we went to the park and practiced filming before we shot our actual trailer so that when we filmed it exactly how we wanted it to look. We started with a pan of the empty field and then we had the actress pop up onto the screen and roar so she looks very angry. This will scare the audience and as it is a close up of her face you will be able to see the dramatic makeup.
Over this clip we will add our tag line which will have great relevance with this clip as it saying the start of out tag line 'Dont look into the mist' showing the slow pan of the gloomy trees. Then you will hear the end of our tag line saying 'she will come for you' and then after this the girl pops up onto the screen screaming very angry. This leaves our audience to be left very scared. We wanted this as it leaves the audience with something to remember from our very scary yet interesting horror trailer.

For the use of camera i filmed the scenes where both of my team members were in and then i filmed some scenes and so did my other team member and we picked after watching them back which one looked the best. When my other team member was filming i was behind the camera with her saying what looked good.

Final Poster

This is our group Final Poster. We wanted the main focus to be on the image as she is also the main focus of our trailer. We have used white writing as it looks chilling and as it is a horror film poster it will show the audience the one side of our person who is innocent. After adding the image onto our group poster we added the title of the film which appears to be glowing. This looked very spooky and chilling. As we have taken this from my own poster we were concered that it may not go with my group members image but we thought that it went very well and makes the image look more scary. I have added bevel and emboss to create the texured effect in the middle and i have added an outer glow to make it stand out. I have made it white as we wanted it to stand out and fit into the horror genre. At the top of the page we have added a quote from 'Empire' magazine to give the film more credit and make it look more professional as we had seen this dont before in our audience research. Our billing block is at the bottom of the page as we have also seen his positioned here in professional posters. We have made the 'coming soon' and the release date a red writing so we have a colour scheme as our tag line was outlined red. We have outlined our tagline red as it showing blood and gore like horror film do.

Our image was picked from our team members first poster as we all like the way it was edited to make two sides of one face. One side shows the murderer who is grey and black to show her evil side. Also it is quite static as it shows the fuzz of a tv screen as this looked even more scary. The makeup was very dramatic as there was alot of eye make up used to make her eyes stand out and big curly hair to show the girls mental side
Then on the other side it is in normal colour and just showing a red line of make up under the eye to show how tired she is living with her other personality. She has very straight hair to show the difference between the two personality's. For this side of our image we have been inspired from the film 'the ring'. This is because this girl looks very disturbed and mentally unstable. As the girl with this costume is in a mental hospital for having another personality we wanted to make it look as if she is a patient and that she has mental issues.
